These terms apply to 4B Engraver at engraver.4brainslabs.com (the “Service”), run by 4Brains Technologies Private Limited, Navi Mumbai, India (“we”). By using the Service you agree to them. How we handle your files and data is explained in the privacy policy.
Free to use
The Service is free and needs no sign-up. We pay for it with advertising. We may change, limit or stop the Service, or any built-in model, at any time.
Your files and what you make
You must have the right to use every model, logo and piece of text you upload or type, including any trademarks in them. You keep all rights to your files and to the engraved files made from them; we claim none. You allow us to store and process them only to run the Service, and we delete them as the privacy policy describes.
Built-in models
The Apple 1 m C-to-C braided cable winder and the MacBook MagSafe 3 cable spooler were designed by IDJUAN (MakerWorld) and are offered here with the designer’s permission. Files you make from them are for your own use: please don’t resell or redistribute the files themselves. The other built-in models are designed by 4Brains.
Check before you print
Engraved files are made automatically. The engraver checks that each file is watertight and that enough material is left under the engraving, but it can’t know your printer, your material or what the part is for. Open every file in your slicer and check it before you print, and print one part before you print a batch.
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for failed prints, used material or other losses that come from using it.
Fair use
- Don’t upload or engrave anything illegal, hateful or harassing, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Don’t use scripts or bots to generate files in bulk or to get around the rate and upload limits. Search engine crawlers that follow our robots.txt are welcome.
- Don’t try to disrupt the Service or probe its security without our permission.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page changes when we do. Using the Service after a change means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
