Filament swatch card
50 x 30 mm filament sample card with a four-step opacity ramp along the bottom and a 4 mm hanging hole. Engrave the brand, colour and printing temperatures.
What fits on it
These are measured on the actual geometry, not estimates. A recessed stroke narrower than 0.8 mm closes up on a 0.4 mm nozzle, so anything below that is thickened automatically or refused.
| Size | 50 x 30 x 3.4 mm |
|---|---|
| Material | 4.1 cm3 of filament |
| A name on its own | up to 8.7 mm tall, 2.04 mm strokes |
| Name plus a serial | 7.6 mm tall |
| Logo face | logo up to 20.2 mm across |
| Deepest safe engraving | 2.6 mm (1.2 mm is the default) |
How to personalize it
One face carries a logo - the built-in one or a PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF or BMP you upload - with an optional serial number underneath. The other face carries exactly one of a name, a serial number or a logo. You get a live 3D preview, then the engraved model as a 3MF and an STL. This model is an STL, so both files hold the mesh only: set the layer height and filament in your slicer as usual. Batch mode numbers up to 8 of them consecutively and returns one zip. No sign-up, and files are deleted after 7 days.
Printing it
Designed by 4Brains with parametric code, so it prints flat with no supports. Tested on a Bambu Lab H2S with a 0.4 mm nozzle at 0.12 mm layers in PLA on a textured PEI plate. The default 1.2 mm engraving is ten layers deep, which is also enough to fill with a second color at a filament swap - see how deep an engraving should be and the smallest text a 0.4 mm nozzle can print.
Try it on your own model. Upload an STL or 3MF, add a logo, a name or a serial number, and download a print-ready file.
